Why “Empowerment” Officer
The title is the mission.
Our vision is to be the most innovative and community-focused land manager in the world. The mission behind the title: we empower people and organisations to empower each other — to create the programs, practices and partnerships that sustain new jobs and entrepreneurs in small communities.
It’s an unusual title, chosen on purpose. It names the output we hold ourselves to.
Jameel B. Madhani, CFA
Chief Empowerment Officer
Twenty years in commercial real estate investment, management and corporate finance across four continents, with more than $2.0 billion of property developed, managed, transacted or funded.
His path runs from brokerage research in Toronto, through London and a financial-crisis portfolio in the northeastern United States, back to Ontario — where he now spends much of his week on the 401 between institutional capital and a fourteen-acre main street in Brockville.
